What does animals, Terrorist, Illegal Immigrants and death row inmates have in common? They all have strong defenders here in the United States. There are hundreds of Lawyers, human & animal rights groups, and other special interest groups willing to fight tooth and nail for their rights to, equal justice under the law, and life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Among the cases before the 2007-2008 Supreme Court is Medellin v. Texas. Medellin, a citizen of Mexico, was convicted of capital murder in Texas state court and sentenced to death. Medellin filed a petition for a writ of habeas corpus arguing that the state violated his rights as a foreign national to consular access under the Vienna Convention. The court’s decision will determine whether Medellin’s death sentence should be reduced to life or he could be set free altogether. The constitutionality of capital punishment is also before the court.
The vast-majority of US citizens seemed ready to send Michael Vick to prison without a trial because he was accused of abusing pit bulls and running a dog fighting ring. The main stream media were more than happy to help convict him in the court of public opinion. PETA is off the roof outraged about the alleged actions of Michael Vick and they are demanding his punishment to the full extent of the law.
Then, there are the captured terrorists at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Hollywood liberals, the ACLU, International Red Cross, and many other special interest groups are lining up to defend these poor captured terrorist. The fact that they were captured in the act of trying to kill our soldiers seems to have gotten lost on the shuffle.
There is one group of people that these human and animal rights groups are not lining up to defend. Surprisingly, the most defenseless of them all, the unborn child has very few special interest groups chomping at the bit to fight for them. The unborn child has no money, can’t speak, walk or fight. They lay there secure in their mother’s womb. The womb is the safe haven provided by Jehovah God himself. From conception to delivery, the unborn child is cradled, sheltered and nourished there.
The Safe Haven Invaded - History:
On January 22, 1973, in a case called Roe v Wade, the Supreme Court handed down a decision which made the constitutional right to an abortion the law of the land. Hence forth, the safe haven of the womb became one of the largest killing fields in history. Nearly 50 million babies have been murdered in the US since that day, and close to 100 million worldwide.
On the same infamous day in 1973, another safe haven became one of the largest crime scenes in history; the neighborhood clinic. According to Webster’s dictionary, a Clinic is “a place where patients are studied or treated by specialists’ physicians practicing as a group, or, a department of a hospital or medical school where outpatients are treated, sometimes without being charged or charged a small fee.” The abortion clinic is not such a place. The abortion clinic is a slaughterhouse where the unborn child goes in as a defenseless victim whose murderers are protected by the constitution of the United States.
Planned Parenthood: Its Beginning
If you go into the average public library looking for information on Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, you’ll likely find a number of flowery biographies hailing her as a champion of women’s rights but you probably won’t find anything on the eugenic and socialistic principles that drove almost everything she did. She is hailed by Planned Parenthood for establishing the principles that a woman’s right to control her body is the foundation of her human rights. However, what Planned Parenthood does not care to dwell on is the fact that Ms Saner was a racist and agnostic.
In her own words Ms Sanger stated that, “ The most merciful thing that a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.” In the book, Birth Control in America: the Career of Margaret Sanger, David Kennedy quoted from one of Ms Sanger’s 1923 speeches on sterilization & racial purification, “for the purpose of racial purification, couples should be rewarded who chose sterilization.” And, Ms Sanger’s Pivot of Civilization refers to immigrants and poor people, as human weeds, reckless breeders, spawning and morons. Adolph Hitler was inspired by the words of Sanger.
Planned Parenthood attempts to mask Ms Sanger’s racism by quoting Martin Luther King, Marcus Garvy, and W.E.B. DuBois. This is one of the more appalling tactics of deceit ever.
Planned Parenthood has killed more humans than all of the 18th – 21st century wars combined. Planned Parenthood has committed genocide on an astronomical scale. Ms Sanger’s’ Planned Parenthood has killed more humans that Hitler himself.
In step with Ms Sanger’s racist philosophy, Planned Parenthood opens clinics most of it’s clinics in minority communities and disguises itself as a friend to women. Almost half of the 40 million babies killed in the United States were children of color. What a friend!
African Americans make up about 13.5% of the US population, yet African American women are getting 35% of the abortions. According to the Centers for Disease Control, 285.826 Blacks died in the year 2000. That same year, 458,500 black children were lost to abortion. Abortion has done to the Black community what the Ku Klux Klan could only have dreamed of. Yet over 90% of African Americans vote for the political party that champions abortion rights. African American scholars, clergy, churches, entertainers, and community leaders support the Democrat party almost without question.
Allies of Abortion
Besides the Supreme Court, abortion has more very powerful allies; the mainstream media, Hollywood, the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union), NOW (National Organization of Women), and many more; it also has unwavering support from the Democrat Party. In this particular party one can not become a judge, congressman, senator, and certainly not a presidential candidate if they do not whole-heartily support the right to an abortion.
The two front runners for the 2008 presidential election in the Democrat party voted against banning partial birth abortion. Partial birth abortion is a procedure where labor is induced and the child is delivered up to the neck, then a long needle is pushed into the nape of the neck and the brain is collapsed, this causes the child to be still born. How can one vote against banning that?
The Bush Administration, barring all of its shortcomings, has been a friend to the Pro-Life Movement. However, it has been argued by many that President Bush himself is a murderer because he commanded our soldiers to war and many are coming back in body bags. This, however, is a moot argument. Why; because the US army is a volunteered army. There is no draft. Every solider in the military volunteered to be there. All soldiers were sent to basic training and taught self-defense tactics. And … they have been given the best equipment to fight with. The unborn child has nothing, no choice, no voice, no self defense tactics, no night vision goggles, no flack jacket, no helmet, no M16, no HUMMVEE, or Black Hawk Helicopters to come to its rescue. All the unborn child has is its mother and she delivers the child to the assassins, pays their fee, and gives the kill order.
Who are the political allies of abortion? Below is a small summary of where our political parties stand on this issue. All statements were taken from each party’s platform, their ‘statement of faith’ if you will:
1. Democrat Party – We will defend the dignity of all Americans against those who would undermine it. We stand proudly for a woman’s right to choose -- regardless of her ability to pay. Abortion should be safe, legal, and rare.
2. Constitution Party – We affirm the God-given legal personhood of all unborn human beings, without exception. As to matters of rape and incest, it is unconscionable to take the life of an innocent child for the crimes of his father.
3. Green Party – We unequivocally support a woman’s right to reproductive choice, no matter her martial status, or age, and that contraception and safe, legal abortion procedures be available on demand and be included in all health insurance coverage in the U.S., as well as free of charge in any state where a woman falls below the poverty level.
4. Libertarian Party – Recognizing that abortion is a sensitive issue and that people can hold good-faith views on both sides, we believe that government should be kept out of the matter. Taxpayers should not be forced to pay for other peoples abortions, nor should any government or individual force a woman to have an abortion.
5. Republican Party – The unborn child has a fundamental individual right to life which cannot be infringed. We support human life amendment to the Constitution and we endorse legislation to make it clear that the Fourteenth Amendment’s protections apply to unborn children.
Abortion in the United States - Statistics
• There have been over 48 million abortions since 1973.
• The annual number of abortions went from 744,600 in the first year of legalization, to a high of over 1.6 million in 1990. In 2003, there were 1,287,000.
• There were over 3,500 abortions per day in 2003, 146 per hour, about one every 25 seconds.
• For every 1,000 live births, there were 312 abortions in 2003.
• There were more that 148,000 second and third trimester abortions in 2003.
• 55% of abortions are done on white women
• Black women make up about 12.3% of females in the US account for 35% of all US abortions.
• Other races of women fill out the remaining 12.5% of the US female population and they account for the other 10%.
• In 2003, more children died from abortion than Americans died in the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, World Wars I and II, the Korean, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Kosovo, and Iraq Wars combined.
• A 2004 survey of women seeking abortions indicated that only about 7% of women cited typical “hard cases” (rape, incest, or some health concern with either the baby or the mother) as the primary reason they were seeking abortion.
• An April 2004 Zogby Poll found that 56% of respondents support legal abortion in only three or fewer circumstances: when the pregnancy results from rape or incest, or when it threatens the life of the mother.
• At an average cost of $372, the abortion business is a $400 million a year industry.
• Nearly half of all abortions are obtained by women who have already had at least one abortion.
Abortion has made murderers out of the most unlikely of citizens. Mothers and fathers are killing their young. Children are killing their children. Grandparents are ordering the deaths of their grandchildren. One unintended consequence of abortion is, it has made life easier for the child molester, rapist, pedophile, adulterer and men who commit incest against their children or children of their relatives. According to abortion rights advocates, girls as young as 12 years old should be able to get an abortion without the consent of their parents. Planned Parenthood has done a wonderful job of convincing the masses that what they, Planned Parenthood, and many private doctors are doing (killing babies) is not mass murder but a service to women. According to them, every woman has the right to determine the future of the child in her womb. After all, it is her body. The woman and the woman alone has freedom of choice. The man only has two choices; 1) pay child support if the woman decides to give birth to the child; 2) shut up if the woman decides to kill the child.
The debate about why the present administration would not allow the TV cameras to show the many bodies of fallen soldiers fighting in Iraq when they are sent home for burial is fierce. Also there are heated discussions as to why the American public is not shown prisoners on death row when they are put to death. The argument is; if you show Americans the horrific sight of hundreds of American soldiers coming home in caskets or show death row inmates receiving their lethal injections, public opinion will sway and people will demand that we put a stop to both the war and the death penalty.
But, you will almost get arrested if you show the remains of an aborted child. According to Pro-Choice advocates, showing the broken bodies and scraps of an aborted child is one of the most evil acts one could commit. According to them, the killing and mangling of the child’s body is not evil, but showing the pictures of said child is evil. And Pro-Life advocates who choose to show these pictures are deemed Evangelicals (which is a dirty word in this society), religious fanatics or backwoods crazies. Could it be that if TV cameras would show the American public the pictures of aborted babies, they would demand that we put a stop to the killing?
Vote your Conscience
Jesus said, “Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
God will always provide for his people. Therefore, voting for the party of entitlements is not necessary if that party champions the hideous crime of abortion. In the Old Testament, when the children of Israel suffered famine and found themselves in captivity, it was because of disobedience to Gods word, whoring after other gods, and sacrificing animals and infants to them. When the children of Israel were in Gods will, they never suffered for food, or shelter and Jehovah God was there to fight for them.
It’s time for the people of God to stand up, be heard and fight for what is right. Vote your conscience, not your pocketbook. Take inventory before you vote. Hold all politicians accountable. Check each candidate out and see where they stand on this issue. If they support the genocide of unborn children, do they deserve your vote?
Also, let’s stop allowing the abortionist to define what abortion is. Using the terms of the abortionist and letting them redefine words only places them in a position of power. Let’s expose them on the terms they are using. It is often stated that he who defines the terms wins the argument.
a. A fetus, according to Webster, means: “a bringing forth, pregnant, fruitful, the unborn young still in the uterus.” Next time someone tries to tell you that a fetus is a mass of tissue, take them to the dictionary.
b. Abortion means: “the spontaneous expulsion of an embryo or a fetus before it is developed, a deliberate procedure that removes, or induces the expulsion of a living or dead embryo or fetus.” In short, abortion means to stop or kill the fetus (an unborn child).
The truth is, we must come to the defense of these children, and be their protection, their voice. As Gods people we are commanded to do so. If the people of God will not protect these children who will? They do not have the protection of the Supreme Court, the Senate, Congress, Lawyers, Police, US Military, doctors, fathers, or mothers. The die silently in the womb, not knowing what hit them, they die alone, in the killing fields without struggle.
