Christian On a Campus - God Has A Plan

Being a Christian for Christ in the world that we live in can be a difficult thing.  There is always someone or something that wants to steal your joy.  For young Christians, this struggle can seem just too difficult at times, with the school teaching things that are anti-God, and friends that pressure you into doing things that are unholy, and a media that promotes immorality and Godlessness.  I am currently in my second year in a Liberal Arts college.  This simply means that the college tries to teach you how to be a world citizen, to be accepting of ALL other beliefs, and sacrifice your own views.  It is a task that seems insurmountable at times, BUT God has a plan.

As a college student, I am on my own making my own decisions.  This means I am accountable for my own actions.  I am in an environment that is constantly testing my faith in God.  If I had not received the messages and the teachings in Sunday School and church services before I went to college, I would not be properly prepared for the situations I am in.  A solid foundation in Jesus Christ is necessary before going into the lion’s den.  There are parties every weekend.  Philosophy AND Religion classes try to shake your belief in God.  Sexual temptation is ALWAYS around, and it is accepted.  Even though there is all of this bad stuff going on, and it seems that the storms are just too great to navigate, there is a guide who can calm the seas.  His name is Jesus.  He WILL help us through the trials, the temptations, and the peer-pressure, but we need to ask for His help.  Only a life of prayer, devotions, and fasting can equip us to battle the forces that want us to quite.  We can make it through the storm with His help, but God doesn’t want us to barely make it through.  God has a plan.

We are at a time in history where awesome things are happening.  The signs of the times are all around us.  I’ve heard someone say around here, “The endtimes are not coming.  The endtimes are here.”  This is true, and it’s not a bad thing.  Daniel 11:32-33 says “…the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.  And they that understand among the people shall instruct many…”  Remember, God has a plan.  “Do exploits” literally means to bring forth.  God gave Daniel a prophesy of a revival that would happen in these last days, and we are those people who are going to bring about that revival.  We who understand are going to instruct MANY.  When we pray daily, read the Bible, and when we fast, we are going to know God, and He will strengthen us.  We will have confidence in His word, and have a desire in our hearts to share the Gospel of Christ and to share the signs of His second coming with anybody and everybody.  As you can see—God has a plan.

Why am I in College?  The answer is simple, there are MANY here.  These MANY don’t know the full truth, and they are hungry for it.  I must share this message.  I must show them what God has prophesied.  It will open their eyes and it will make them hungrier.  I’ve experienced this first hand.  I am giving an Endtime Bible study to the college kids that people say could never be reached.  When you see the hunger inside their eyes after you tell them about the USA prophesied in the Bible over 2,000 years before it happened, it makes you get so pumped!  There’s so much to share, and there are so MANY souls.  So if you feel alone at a College, or if you feel alone at a High School, remember one thing—God has a plan.  You can be that light that spreads through that campus!  Study His word, and pray every day.  When you seek His face, he will reveal things to you, and He will strengthen you.
